This ongoing Black & White series centers around the concept of queerness and how each individual expresses it. The title “Giving Flowers” comes from the idea of giving “flowers” (appreciation, love, gratitude, etc.) within the queer community. Whether the subject is giving flowers towards queer icons, dance history, romantic partners; the flowers act as a symbolic representation of growth within the community and within yourself.
